This is a pedagogical school, aimed at bridging the gap between masters-level courses and topics in statistical physics at the frontline of current research. It is intended for Ph.D. students, post-doctoral fellows and interested faculty members at the college and university level.

Those interested in participating should apply by email to statphys@rri.res.in by December 15, 2010 with their CV and list of published papers if any. Students and postdocs should arrange for a letter of recommendation, to be sent directly to statphys@rri.res.in by their advisor.

All selected candidates will be provided boarding and lodging as per norms, and are required to attend the entire school. Full support will be provided for travel within India by train.
