My interests are in soft condensed matter physics and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. I now work as a researcher at Raman Research Institute   in Bangalore,  India . I did my doctorate from Syracuse University, N.Y. with  Prof. M. C. Marchetti . My Ph.D work was on the non-equilibrium glassy dynamics of dense mixtures. Since then my interests have broadened somewhat.
One of my present interests is in the statistical mechanics of semi-flexible polymers and their applications in biological physics. More broadly,
my interest is in equilibrium and
non-equilibrium
statistical mechanics applied to various areas of
theoretical physics.
