After the birth of my daughter, I have stayed active by working from home. I wrote children's
books and popular articles, made a living with web based education in addition to writing research papers in my area of expertise.
I illustrated a popular story
by Rabindranath Tagore called  Juta Abishkar  for a Bengali webzine. The same webzine
also has a children's story Bagha the Baby tigerBagha, which I wrote and illustrated.
 

I am also interested in Art and Music. I draw, paint and am very interested in Western Classical Music and Hindustani Music. I also enjoy music of the Baul singers from Bengal. These are folk musicians who sing of philosophical themes and draw on the mystic traditions of Indian culture.
