Working as Technical officer C in Library managing Journal subscription has over two and half decades of professional experience. PhD in Library and Information science with Master's degree in Botany along with B.L.I.Sc, M.L.I.Sc. degree. Has published several papers in national and international journals, festschrift volumes and conference proceedings. Received complete travel grant to attend international conference at Italy, from Library and Information Services in Astronomy (LISA) VII organising committee and Presented paper on Enhancing access to audio and video collections of Raman research institute library through digitization , held at INAF, Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte, Naples, Italy, from 17th to 20th June 2014.
Awarded PhD degree in 2018 from Mangalore University on the topic – Use and impact of open access resources among researchers in Physics
Areas of interest – Open Access and Digital Repositories, Digital Preservation, Database Management and ICT Applications to Library
