Q: Has accommodation been arranged for the contributory participants?
A: Yes, accommodation has been arranged for all contributory participants from 12th to 19th January 2020, at the The Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) Guest House, Jalahalli.
Q: How to reach Indian Academy of Sciences Guest House (Jalahalli)?
A: The Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) Guest House is at Jalahalli which is
    about 7 km. from the Raman Research Institute (RRI) campus.

If arriving in Bangalore by Air: The Bangalore International Airport is about 36 km from the Guest House. On arrival, you may either take a pre-paid taxi (UBER/Ola) or a Bus. If taking a taxi, please give ISRO Quarters (Jalahalli) as the landmark. If taking a bus from the airport, you may take the bus, KIAS-9 and get down at the Majestic bus stop, then take any of the bus, 273 (or 273-C or 273-E) to HMT Post Office bus stop. The Indian Academy of Sciences Guest House is within walking distance from the bus stop. Additionally, more information is available at Mybmtc.com.

If arriving in Bangalore by rail: There are three railway stations at which you might get off: Yeshwantpur, Bangalore Cantonment and Bangalore City. Consider hiring an autorickshaw or a taxi (UBER/Ola) to get to the Guest House from railway stations. The driver may be asked to go to The Indian Academy of Sciences Guest House located close to ISRO Quarters, Jalahalli.

If arriving in Bangalore by bus: The Main Bus Station where all the government transport buses arrive is situated just opposite to the Bangalore City Railway Station. Consider taking an autorickshaw or taxi (UBER/Ola) to get to the Guest House.

Q: What should be the size of the poster that is to be displayed in the conference?
A: A0 size is preferred. Both portrait and landscape orientations are okay.
Q: Will the poster be displayed on all the days of the conference session?
A: No, it will be displayed only during the poster session mentioned in the schedule.
Q: Will the materials required for sticking the poster for display (such as pins, etc.) be provided?
A: Yes, it will be provided.
Registration and Participation
Q: What is the registration fee for an industrial or Govt. department delegate?
A: The registration fee for any delegate belonging to this category is 600 EUR per person. This applies to both invited as well as contributory participants. It will cover conference material as well as food during the conference. We expect that the delegates will take care of their own accommodation. However, we can help with relevant information regarding possible options.
Q: Can I as a conference participant get contacted by a third party service for arrangments of accommodation during the conference or other logistics?
A: We have not authorized any third party to do bookings on our behalf. Please be cautious in not providing personal information to any phishing emails/fraudulent calls concerning arrangement of logistics. Any information if required by us will be communicated from QFF/Convenors' email accounts.

General Information
Q: What is the timeline of the conference?
A: The conference will be held from 13th to 18th January 2020.
Q: Is participation in the conference open to all?
A: Participation is subject to acceptance of submitted extended abstract. Only researchers presenting talks or posters are allowed to participate in the conference.
Q: I am a Bachelors/Masters student. I am interested in the field of quantum information/foundations, can I attend the talks?
A: Unfortunately, due to logistic constraints, this may not be possible. However, talks will be recorded and uploaded on RRI YouTube channel and link will be shared on the conference website.
