About
Tanmoy Chakraborty earned his Ph.D. from IISER-Kolkata in 2015. He subsequently held postdoctoral positions at TU Dortmund (Germany), Stockholm University (Sweden), and Hasselt University (Belgium), specializing in nitrogen-vacancy centers and quantum control. In 2020, he joined QuTech in TU Delft, Netherlands focusing his research on frequency-multiplexed quantum repeaters and hybrid networks. Since January 2023, he has served as a Senior Scientist at A*STAR’s Quantum Innovation Centre, Singapore, where his research focuses on nonlinear interferometry-based quantum sensing and imaging. Subsequently he worked as an assistant professor in PRL Ahmedabad. Currently he is an associate professor in the Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru.
