Susmita Dash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. She leads the Multiscale Transport and Energy Research Laboratory at IISc. Prior to joining as a faculty, she worked as a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA. She received her Ph.D. in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University in 2014. Her laboratory works in the areas of two-phase heat transfer for thermal management, desalination, complex fluids, and micro-propulsion for nanosatellites. She is the recipient of Infosys Young Investigator Award at IISc.
