About

The focus of my research group lies in the general areas of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics & soft matter systems, such as glassy systems, active materials, athermal/ granular solids and non-reciprocal systems. We are also interested in exploring intelligent fluids, non-equilibrium self-assembly, physical learning, to name a few.  For this we employ a variety of numerical and analytical methods, such as molecular dynamics or agent-based simulations, construction and analysis of hydrodynamic equations, Langevin or Fokker-Planck description, etc.

Recent publications that broadly represent the research interests of our group:

Active Glassy system: (i) Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci., 115, 30 (2018), (ii) Nat. Commun., 11, 2581 (2020) (iii) Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 218001 (2020) (iv) Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci., 118, 39 (2021)
