I am working in the cell biophysics lab. Here I am working on chick neurons and looking into the possible mechanisms of tension regulation in neurons. Tension in the living cells influences a wide range of biological processes like viral infection, remodelling the cell’s shape and signal propagation. Also, cellular tension is responsible for many neurodegenerative diseases, so we are trying to find out the possible mechanisms of tension regulation in neurons and its effects.
