My research area is High-Energy Astrophysics, and, in particular, non-thermal radiation produced in the relativistic jets from active galactic nuclei. I investigate the role of these jets in accelerating particles and producing the multiwavelength photon emission that we observe. I am interested in identifying the sources of ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECR), which remains an open question even after 60 years since the first UHECR particle was discovered.
