Arup Bhowmick’s primary research area is Atomic, Molecular, and Optical physics. In RRI, he is working on a scalable lattice of ion traps that has an application for quantum computation and quantum sensing. However, his early research area was experiments with Bose-Einstein condensation and Rydberg quantum optics.
