About

I specialize in experimental biophysics, including nano- and microfluidics, mechanobiology, and electrophysiology. External and internal forces influence cellular mechanical properties such as stiffness, viscosity, adhesion and contractility, which play crucial roles in tissue growth and cancer progression. However, key questions remain regarding how mechanical forces arise and how they shape cellular mechanical properties that directly influence proliferation and migration. My research interests focus on using biophysical approaches to uncover the mechanisms linking cell mechanics to development and disease.
