Abstract

Artificial intelligence has come a long way from traditional classifiers to advanced large language models (LLMs) like GPT, LLaMA and Deepseek. This talk provides a structured journey through the evolution of AI, starting with fundamental machine learning techniques such as Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines (SVMs), and Neural Networks, before progressing to deep learning, transformers, and generative AI. We will explore the key breakthroughs that enable modern LLMs. Finally, we will discuss the latest trends in the field, ethical considerations, and future possibilities.
