Unifying Concepts in Glass Physics (UCGP) 2025

A study of glasses and the glass transition is important from a fundamental physics point of view, besides being crucial for potential applications in designing smart, stimuli-responsive materials, understanding dense cellular or sub-cellular assemblies in biology and even for optimization problems in computer science.

UCGP 2025 at RRI follows earlier editions held at Bristol, UK (2018), Aspen, USA (2015), Paris, France (2011), Kyoto, Japan (2008), Bangalore, India (2004), Rome, Italy (2002) and Trieste, Italy (1999).

Technical talks and public lectures by experts on the following themes have been planned:
