I have worked extensively with optical tweezers to characterize magnetic nanoparticles and magnetic microbeads as tools to study soft and bio matter. This research is the record of various studies that form the necessary ground work of any attempt to exploit magnetic interactions between various types of magnetic entities to further understanding of the structure and dynamics of various soft and living materials, with the idea of building essential studies required to understand the dynamics of magnetic nanoparticles and magnetic beads in optical tweezers
