Abstract
Gas is observed to be ejected out of galaxies with high star formation rate. This phenomenon is a crucial ingredient for the evolution of galaxies, because it affects the gas content and in turn, the star formation rate of galaxies. I will discuss the details of the physical processes involved in this phenomenon, and how observations in different wavebands help one to understand these processes.
