Gandhi Memorial Lecture

Riyaz Tayyibji is the principal architect/ partner at anthill design, Ahmedabad, a practice through which he is also actively involved in architectural documentation and research. He is visiting tutor at the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University. He has been the coordinator of the Gandhi Heritage Sites Mission set up to document the buildings made by and related to the life of M.K. Gandhi. He has curated exhibitions on the architecture and urbanity of Ahmedabad. Recently he led a Team at the National Institute of Urban Affairs towards the preparation of a Heritage Conservation Plan for the World Heritage City, Ahmedabad, following its UNESCO inscription. He has been responsible for the restoration of M.K. Gandhi’s bicycle.
