Rethinking Cosmology

Date
08 December 2025 - 12 December 2025

Venue

The advent of ‘precision cosmology’ has revealed cracks in the standard Lambda-Cold-Dark-Matter model. Apart from inconsistencies like the ‘Hubble tension’, there are fundamental challenges such as the anomalously deep local bulk flow and the mismatch of the CMB and matter dipoles. These issues will be critically discussed at this conference, and possible ways forward elucidated in the light of forthcoming data from new observatories on Earth and in space.
