About
My research interests are centered on biophysics, active matter, and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. I have previously worked on the micro-mechanical characterization of bacteria and the study of collective behavior in cyanobacteria. Currently, I investigate axonal fluctuations, specifically on chick DRG neurons to understand their mechanical properties and the influence of thermal and activity-driven fluctuations. My work combines optical trapping, image processing, and theoretical approaches from non-equilibrium statistical mechanics to study the dynamics of biological systems.
